John Watts is working on an on-going dowsing survey of Chapel Carn Brae.  If anyone is interested in doing this fascinating dowsing work with him, please contact Jill (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and you will be put in touch.

Also this year, John Moss is working on a dowsing survey of Trencrom Hill.  As above, if anyone is interested in joining him please make contact.

July '17: Coming soon!  If you are interested in our ancient place names, the very well-known historian and researcher of all things Cornish, Craig Weatherhill, has just completed: "Place-names of the Land's End", available soon from Penwith Press.  www.penwithpress.co.uk

Would you like to learn how to dowse?   There are British Society of Dowsers' approved workshops and courses held regularly through the year.  John Moss, BSD registered dowsing tutor and professional dowser, has a 2017 schedule of 1-day and 2-day workshops and courses. Click on the Dowsing Courses' tab at the top of the page or visit his website: www.dowsingplace.co.uk

If you'd like an amusing variant on that, visit: www.dowsingplaice.co.uk

November 16: the group has a new Treasurer.    Jennie Leach, who has been the Treasurer since our beginnings at the end of 2011, has handed the cash box and cheque book to John Watts, who has been a supportive part of the group for a considerable time anyway.   Many thanks Jennie and John.

Book by one of our speakers!

Christopher Strong was our speaker in April 2016.  His book: "Christopher Strong: Autobiography of a Sceptical Dowser. Practising Intuition in Every Aspect of Living", edited and compiled by Nigel Twinn, was launched in May.  A fascinating book about a Cambridge graduate's life in the Colonial Office around the world, and the many aspects of his dowsing work with his late wife Veronika.  Many of his dowsing cases (and they helped nearly 5000 people with an excellent success rate) are described in detail.

The book is available to buy on line from: www.penwithpress.co.uk (or ask Jill at any of the Trencrom Dowsers' events).

An award for Ba Miller!

In November 2015, Isabel Derry, President of the British Society of Dowsers, travelled down from Cumbria to present Ba Miller with the Billy Gawn Earth Energies' Award, "in recognition of 30 years of commitment to Earth Energies' dowsing and her continuing work as an exceptional dowser, healer, researcher and promoter of the art".  A well-deserved recognition for such a wonderful person.

We were delighted to be presented with The British Society of Dowsers' Merit Award by the President, Grahame Gardner, in October 2013.

Also in 2013 Trencrom Dowser John Moss was awarded the British Society of Dowsers' Award: "for exceptional service to dowsing and to the Society".

Happy dowsing in the company of good friends!
