Dowsing Workshops

Would you like to learn how to dowse?

Dowsing Workshops in West Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Gloucestershire

Here is the schedule for 2019 workshops.  Most of them this year are in Marazion, west Cornwall.

THE SCHEDULE IS FLEXIBLE.  WORKSHOPS ARE ALSO HELD AT OTHER TIMES ONCE THERE IS A VIABLE GROUP

Each one will be limited to a small group so that the day is a good learning experience, friendly and informal.

Sunday 10 February: Dowsing for Beginners

This workshop provides a good grounding in dowsing, including philosophy, applications, ethics and personal protection. Students will be able to: understand the nature of dowsing; use basic dowsing tools and apply them; show that they understand how to dowse for water, concealed or missing objects, archaeology, health and earth energies; apply ethics and personal protection.

The next Dowsing for Beginners' workshop this year will be run when there are sufficient numbers for a viable group.

Sunday 3 March: Dowsing for Health

Today is invaluable for those who have learnt the basics of dowsing, whether you are a complementary therapist or a keen amateur. Developing your dowsing skills might help you to recognise changes that could be made in your lifestyle, potential health problems and identify possible treatment options and dietary adjustments.

Please note that this is not a healing workshop and none of the content is intended to replace advice given by a qualified health professional.

If you have completed a Foundation or Beginners' course/workshop, have practised the techniques, or are already a competent dowser with rods and pendulum, you might wish to progress to the Earth Energies' workshops, of which there are several levels.

Sunday 28 April: Introduction to Earth Energies

This workshop explores the nature and scope of earth energies, analysing the energies running across the land.

We will discover how we can interact with them, how to identify whether they are beneficial to the individual and how to apply dowsing techniques to connect to the Genus Loci - the protective Spirit of Place.

Today includes a visit to a local stone circle.

Sunday 2 June: Advanced Dowsing (includes Geopathic Stress, Geopsychic Stress and Technopathic Stress).   For those already competent in earth energy dowsing.  At the end of today students will be able to: identify healthy sites for living/working; identify geomantic problems; use the basic skills skills necessary for the identification of Geopathic stress and effect harmonising.

Students will also have guidance in the basics of working with and treating Geopsychic stress.  (More details to follow).  The day includes an overview of the identification of technopathic and how to shield, ration and avoid it.

Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th July: 2-day course at Embercombe, Higher Ashton, Devon

The energetics of place: dowsing at Embercombe

The theory and practice of dowsing: how to dowse for water; other underground concealed objects; archaeological remains; food sensitivities and earth energies.

Learn how to analyse different types of earth energies, how to recognise beneficial and non-beneficial locations and how to understand the basics of Geopathic stress and Geopsychic stress.  In addition, the challenges of Technopathic stress (electro-stress, WIFI etc) will be covered.

We will be dowsing in the gardens, meadows and at the stone circle of Embercombe's beautiful valley.

This is an exciting opportunity at a very special venue.  Residential and non-residential options available.  Please look at the website for more details, at all that Embercombe has to offer, and how to apply.  https://embercombe.org

Tutor: John Moss

John and Jill started dowsing in 1996 and have been running courses and workshops since 2003.  They also work together on their dowsing jobs.

John was a founder member, Programme Secretary and Chairman of South Herefordshire Dowsers.  He joined The British Society of Dowsers (BSD) in 1997 and in 2003 became a member of the Society’s Register of Professional Dowsers, specialising in Earth Energies and house clearing, and was accepted as a Registered Tutor. (The Registered Tutor scheme was discontinued in January 2018.) In addition, he spent 9 years from 1999 as a qualified Holistic Massage therapist.   In 2004 he started career number three running the business operation of the BSD as Director, before retiring at the end of 2012.  Since starting to run workshops in Cornwall, John and Jill founded Trencrom Dowsers in 2011. They are also members of the UK's Geomancy Group and John was elected Chair of the Group at the end of 2017.

We aim to provide you with an interesting, (at times exciting!) and friendly learning experience in a small group, during which you can develop your dowsing knowledge and skills.
